Sarasota Jungle Gardens is the area’s only zoological gardens featuring 10 acres of tropical vegetation and jungle trails. One of the oldest continuously operating attractions in Florida, Sarasota Jungle Gardens evokes memories of Florida days gone by, full of flora, fauna and fun, yet remains current and exciting for today’s families, locals, and tourists alike.
See animals such as endangered exotic birds, prairie dogs, Florida crocodiles and other reptiles. Most of the animals at Jungle Gardens have been rescued or donated by exotic pet owners. Jungle Gardens has multiple shows that run daily featuring animals such as the “Birds of Prey and Critters and Things”, “Reptile Encounter”, and “Birds of the Rain forest”.
Kids will enjoy as they will have the chance to interact and learn about the animals and have the opportunity to pet a tortoise, hold an alligator and feed a flamingo!
The park is open from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily.
