Anna Maria Island is the picture of a tropical beach paradise, and we couldn’t be any happier to call it home. Boasting miles of stunning white-sand beaches along the unbelievably blue water of the Gulf of Mexico, it’s one of the best beach vacation destinations in the United States, and if you’ve visited once, you likely already are dreaming about your next visit. It’s the kind of place where you can mix a lowkey island feel with the best of relaxation, and where there’s always something to do to match your mood. Shopping on Pine Ave, lounging on the beach, dining on fresh Gulf shrimp with sunset views—it’s all in an average day on AMI, where you can let adventure carry you to unexpected places that you’ll never forget.
Pumpkin Festival at Hunsader Farms
Just an under an hour’s drive from AMI you’ll find Hunsader Farms, which turns into a festive fall wonderland—which can be a dream in sunny Florida, and a great way to get into the seasonal mood for the upcoming fall holidays. Traipse through a real pumpkin patch, hop on a wild hayride, or explore the corn maze. There’s an assortment of crafts, live music, pony rides, a petting zoo, and all for an admission of $15 with kids 10 and under free! It’s a family-friendly venue, but anyone that’s young at heart or adores the fall season will enjoy a day spent on the farm. The annual Pumpkin Festival at Hunsader Farms runs the last three weekends of October, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
